USMD Inc. (USMD) is a patient-focused, physician-established company that provides world-class, state-of-the-art healthcare. 

USMD began in 1994 with the creation of US Lithotripsy.  Its founders, John M. House, M.D. (Chairman and CEO), Paul Thompson, M.D. (Board Member) and Steve House (President, USMD Lithotripsy Division) continue to serve as the company’s leadership team along with Klaus W. Buzzi, DABR (President, USMD Cancer Treatment Center Division), M. Patrick Collini, M.D. (Board Member), Charles Cook, M.D. (Board Member), Christopher Dunleavy CPA, MBA (Chief Financial Officer), Karen A. Fiducia, FACHE (President, USMD Hospital Division) and James Saafield, M.D. (Board Member.)

As of today, USMD Inc. has twenty-two lithotripsy partnerships nationwide, two general acute care hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a CyberKnife facility in Fort Worth, Texas and ten cancer treatment centers nation-wide (with plans for expanding into other countries such as China and Mexico.)  USMD Inc.’s Corporate Headquarters is located in Las Colinas (Irving), Texas.

USMD Inc.’s physicians, leadership team and employees are dedicated to providing quality healthcare to their patients.  As a result, USMD is currently working on expanding the services it provides by upgrading its overall service model to meet the changing regulatory environment such that its patients are the focal point of all decision making.
