Lithotripsy Ventures
USMD partners with physicians to develop lithotripsy services ventures that promote increased access to superior technology. Being a physician led organization ourselves, we see the value in partnering with other physicians in their service area to provide better patient care through lithotripsy services.
Operations
USMD has vast knowledge and over 14 years experience in establishing and running Lithotripsy services ventures. We utilize our resources when hiring and managing a certified technologist for your lithotripsy services. Currently we have 22 Lithotripsy ventures in syndication, mobilizing 28 lithotripters and performing over 12,000 ESWL procedures annually. Our technologists are certified in Renal Lithotripsy Applications.
Development
We partner with you and your colleagues to define a venture that promotes increased access to superior technology within smaller geographical regions. USMD consults with its physician partners in choosing the technology best suited for the service area. USMD also provides quality outcomes data, strict compliance measures, and produces transparent financial information for its partners.
Implementation
USMD becomes a buffer between you and your practice and the administration of the hospital or surgery center where services are provided. It is imperative that you practice medicine while we take care of all business related activities. USMD provides the financial and legal arms for each lithotripsy venture, making the process a turn-key operation.
Finance
USMD’s business plan supports the greatest amount of physician ownership opportunity compared to any competition. Our goal is to empower physicians to provide world class healthcare in their community; we see this venture as a long-term relationship that will cultivate additional opportunities that benefit our physician partners.
