Charles E. Cook, M.D.

Charles E. Cook, M.D. was born and raised in Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate studies in Zoology at LSU Baton Rouge.  He attended medical school at LSU New Orleans and completed his internship and residency in the Dallas/Fort Worth area at Parkland Memorial Hospital and the University of Texas Southwestern respectively.

Dr. Cook is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.  He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons and many other orthopedic organizations.  Dr. Cook has contributed to two scientific publications (published) and has conducted his own research on “The Study of Synthetic Bone Grafting Material in a Long Bone Segmental Defect Dog Model” (unpublished).  In addition, Dr. Cook is currently in private practice in Dallas, Texas where he is affiliated with many local hospitals.  Dr. Cook is married to a pediatrician and has three children.
