Mark Mortenson, MBA, CPA

Mark Mortenson, MBA, CPA, is Vice President of Finance for USMD’s Cancer Treatment Center Division.  He is responsible for all accounting and finance functions within the division.  Mark brings over 20 years of valuable experience in many areas including; SEC reporting, SOX and internal controls, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement, consulting and management.

Mr. Mortenson began his professional career with Arthur Andersen & Company in Milwaukee, after majoring in accounting at the University of Wisconsin.  Mark most recently served as a financial consultant with both Tatum LLC and Jefferson Wells International, assisting clients with financial reporting, work transition and process improvement.  Mark’s career path includes being director of finance for a $250 million publicly traded developer, marketer and operator of timeshare resorts; director of finance for a $70 million healthcare product distribution company and a senior finance manager for a $5 billion Fortune 500 IT product and services distributor.
 
Mark enjoys woodworking, coaching and spending time with his wife and children.
