Stephanie Atkins-Guidry, RN, BSN, MBA

Stephanie Atkins-Guidry, RN, BSN, MBA has over 30 years of healthcare experience ranging from Certified Surgical Tech to Chief Nursing Officer and most recently administrator of several ambulatory surgery centers. Ms. Atkins-Guidry had the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of patient care and utilization of physical and financial resources including billing and coding services for all the facilities. She represented the surgery centers to key customers, industry groups, financial community, representatives of government and regulatory agencies, as well as the general public. Ms. Atkins-Guidry is known for her ability to build a successful organization by creating a vision for the company and seizing opportunities as they present themselves.
In 2002, Ms. Atkins-Guidry became the Chief Nursing Officer of Medical Centre Surgical Hospital; this would be the second construction project in her career which she prepared for a successful Medicare and JCAHO survey. In 2004, Ms. Atkins-Guidry joined Healthsouth as Administrator of three ambulatory surgery centers in Fort Worth, Texas. She was involved in all aspects of the business including negotiations of managed care contracts and was the project manager for a $2 MM construction project. Ms. Atkins-Guidry began her career in the healthcare field as a Certified Surgical Tech and then in 1990 received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University. In 2001 she received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. Ms. Atkins-Guidry is married and has five children.
