OverviewDescription Receptionist reports to the Site Manager at a busy medical clinic working in the telephone room.. Success in this position requires excellent communications and customer service skills, and strong general office skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer telephones, schedule appointments, post charges and receive cash payments, as needed. Verify eligibility and insurance coverage, including referrals, if required. Maintain new patient chart components. Maintain work area and lobby and observe patient flow. Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager. QUALIFICATION High school diploma or equivalent. General office skills and general computer knowledge. Knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
